The brief
A production studio is hired on what it has already made. The site had to put motion in front of the visitor immediately, make the portfolio scannable by client rather than by format, and keep a contact route in reach of the producer who is already convinced.
Motion above the fold
The homepage opens on the studio's own footage. For a company that sells moving image, a static hero would be an argument against itself.
Named projects, not a wall of thumbnails
Each piece of work is listed under the client it was made for, so a visitor recognises a name before they judge a thumbnail. The portfolio reads as a client list that happens to be visual.
Services in the language clients use
Production, 3D and CGI, animated explainers, corporate video and product visualisation are named the way a brief names them, which is also the way people search for them.
