The brief
Live events do not fail gently. A sale opens, thousands of people arrive in the same minute, and every second of hesitation is a ticket that does not get sold. Ticksz needed a platform that holds up on that night and is still calm to run on a Tuesday afternoon.
One screen to run the night
Events, dashboards, portals, discounts, orders and customers sit behind a single nav. Each event carries its own state, venue, date, tickets sold and gross sales, so the answer to how are we doing is on screen rather than in a report someone has to build.
Designed around the spike
The interesting load is not the average, it is the ten minutes after a launch. Checkout, inventory and reporting were treated as one problem instead of three, so what the organizer sees stays true while the numbers are still moving.
Handed over, not handed off
Draft, active, locked and archived states, search and filters across the catalog, and a structure the client's own team could learn in an afternoon. The measure of the build is that they run it without calling us.
What we built.
Event lifecycle: draft, active, locked and archived
Live tickets-sold and gross-sales figures per event
Search and filtering across the full event catalog
Discounts, orders and customer records
Sales portals and reporting dashboards
Venue and schedule data on every event card
